Listed Building

East Anglia has a fine heritage of buildings.

We offer our clients our extensive knowledge and practical experience of specifying and over-seeing the repair of many different forms of traditional construction, including -

  • Timber frame, wattle and daub
  • Plaster pargeting
  • Local brick and clay lump
  • Clunch and flint
  • Straw, reed and sedge thatches
  • Peg tiled, plain tiled and pantiled roofs

We have wide experience in advising on listed building conservation; High House, Friston, featured at the top of this page having been selected by the Royal Institutution of Chartered Surveyors, out of 19 entries, to represent East Anglia in the national finals of their Conservation Award Scheme.

The assessors' comment "A gem and enthusiastically recommended for an award".

To the left is a traditional south Suffolk cottage.  The restoration was project managed by Sheppard & Co.

There is no fee for a preliminary consultation.
